Knit yourself a cozy hug with this shawl pattern. Soothing garter stitch stripes are worked with a simple bias shaping for a relaxing knit, resulting in a wearable wrap — perfect for draping over your shoulders or wrapping around your neck when you’re in need of some warmth. There are many ways to play with color with this wrap; use a color-changing yarn contrasting with a solid and watch as they shift through the project. The stripes alternate between a fingering or light sport weight yarn and a lace weight kidsilk for a floaty result. You could also knit this with all fingering weight yarn for a warmer wrap. Dianella is the name for the beautiful Australian Flax lily, one of my favorites.
