What is a Project Bag? A Project Bag is a term used mostly in the crafting / knitting / crocheting community for a bag designs to carry supplies for a specific craft or art project. We sell to a lot of yarn and fiber shops throughout the United States (and globally) who sell lots and lots of these bags! And if you’re not in the knitting community, this bag still makes a cute “doo-dad bag” as we call it! Why do Project Bags have long zippers? Project Bags have longer zippers than most bags so that the bag can open up fully and be flexible to hold lots of items. It allows the bag to open up more. Also, when you are grabbing large knitting needles or pulling yarn out of it, a long zipper prevents getting your yarn from getting accidentally caught on the zipper.
